Building slides within Jamboard currently allows any users to edit and/or change those slides, including students. Building slides within Google Slides and then importing those slides to Jamboard allows the user to set the slides as an un editable background. How can this be helpful in the classroom? Think vocabulary matching. Building a slide within Google Slides with all definitions permanently in place allows students to only manipulate vocabulary terms to match the appropriate definition. The teacher can now quickly scan the slides for correct placement of terms.
